1.? 中澳土地工會邀K和Paul與HB社區的人於12月8日下星期二有一次會議, 這是在接獲簽名信後的公開會議, 希望這次真是能公正公平公開, 而HB的人並賓陸人能勇敢地將自己的想法表明, 願 神在我們當中主持這會議, 使結果能榮神益人, 大家的生活可以恢復平靜, 而對 神與福音的認識可以展該新的一頁.
2. 我們的官司如所期待- 簡單直接, 因嫌犯所犯的案最高可判34年, 因此已被收押, 最後的判決時間是明年3月2號, 感謝神!
3. 請在這一段時間裡, 也特別在禱告中紀念我的媽媽（84歲）, 她一人獨居澎湖. 謝謝!
Sunday Haast’s BluffPray for gospel courage for the people of Haast’s Bluff. Pray too for courage for whitefella church and other leaders in wider Australian society. Pray for Tim Stollznow, the chairman of the Finke River Mission Board. Pray for Lutheran Bishop John Henderson’s discussions with the Bible Society. Pray for wisdom for the leadership of Mission Australia. Pray for discernment for Ken Duncan, his advisers and supporters, including Mel Gibson. Pray too for the Australian media, especially for “Australian Geographic” magazine, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and “The Australian” newspaper. Pray that they would continue to carefully check their facts and present balanced stories.
Monday Haast’s Bluff Pray for courage for the people of Haast’s Bluff. Pray especially for the big meeting being held on 8/12 . Pray that Ken Duncan himself would attend. Pray for Paul’s speaking. Pray that he would know what to say and how to say it. Pray that the local people would not be swayed by money, but would be swayed by the truth.
Tuesday Haast’s Bluff Pray for courage for the people of Haast’s Bluff. Pray too for courage for the Central Land Council, especially for Sammy Butcher, Brian Connelly, Geoff Hulcombe and David Young. Pray for the work of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS) as they evaluate current Land Rights legislation. Please keep praying for wisdom for Pintupi-Luritja leaders Lance Abbott, Alison Anderson and Sid Anderson. Give thanks that Haast’s Bluff people felt free to draft an important letter re the giant cross at a meeting held on 30/10.
Wednesday Haast’s Bluff Pray for courage for the people of Haast’s Bluff. Pray for those at the centre of this debate – for Suparkra Jugadai, Douglas Multa, and Alison Multa. Pray that they would neither put undue pressure on others nor be overwhelmed by it themselves. Keep praying for God’s comfort and strength for Chrischona Schmidt, the manager of the Haast’s Bluff art gallery.
Thursday Haast’s Bluff Pray for courage for the people of Haast’s Bluff. Pray especially for the Jugadai, Zimran, Jack and Marks families. (Pray for Walter Jugadai’s court appearance on 10/12.) Pray that the length of this discussion of the giant cross would not make people weary. And pray that there would be no deep, lasting divisions in this community. Pray that the people of Haast’s Bluff would recognise and respect the work of those aboriginal missionaries and pastors who have gone before them – especially Kamutu, Smithy Zimran, Gregory Tjupurrula and Murphy Roberts.
Friday Papunya Pray that some renovations on Papunya church can happen soon. Mt Liebig Pray that a young man who attempted suicide would suffer minimal brain damage. Give thanks that our Mt Isa trip resolved some legal issues for Pastor Roderick Kantamara. Kintore Keep praying for the pastor who has been struggling, and for the musician in gaol. Pray that our visit to the gaol (3/1) would go well. Pray that Christmas celebrations here would glorify God. Pray for the health of evangelist Andrew Spencer. Kiwirrkura Praise God that the ordination service went smoothely. Pray that Pastor John West would know the presence of Christ. Alice Springs Pray for the Father’s blessing upon Pastor Ken Schultz and the Alice Springs Lutheran Church. Us Praise God that our court case has been resolved! Please pray for physical and spiritual well-being for Mei-Li’s mother.
Saturday Haast’s Bluff Pray for courage for the people of Haast’s Bluff. Keep praying for Pastor Trevor Raggett, especially that he would be well-supported by his sister Tarna, and by evangelists Martin Jugadai and Justin Allen. Pray that his sermons would be well-prepared and full of life-giving truth. Give thanks that he has been taking services regularly. Give thanks that he has enjoyed the respect and fellowship of the other people at Utili outstation. Pray that he would continue to be honoured by all Haast’s Bluff people. Above all, pray that the One “who has begun a good work in [Trevor] will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil. 1:6).
