The library was founded in 1970, move here in 1979. In memory of the elder minister, Han Wei, for the contribution of China Evangelical Seminary. In 1984 the library is called “Han Pavilion”. The Library covers an area of 1650 square feet. The purpose of the library is to support the teaching and research theology of teachers and students in the whole Seminary, and to serve the church members. The Library of Theology in the Christian faith, the church history, Christianity, the Bible and missionary Books Journals, special collections of modern literature, Chinese is part of Taiwan, Hong Kong and other Chinese Church history, the museum as a Christian Special Library. Since 1997 the whole have been computerized, the reader can through the Internet from the remote query catalogue, or online database, use the library subscription to electronic journals and e-books and other resources. In addition, the Library Classification and title, whether in the western United States Congress with “Library of Congress Classification( LCC)” and “Library of Congress Subject Headings(LCSH)” as the criterion.
BooksThe museum collection (including general books, reference books, Chinese Stirling church Tibet, papers, pamphlets and books about more than 64500 copies. Reference books contain dictionaries, dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, annuals, indexes, maps, guides, Bible notes, etc. The dissertation includes Graduate Dissertation, and some universities related Christian study papers, the United States and Canada dissertations.
Journal Periodicals are the treasure trove of up-to-date information. There are 78 kinds of subscription paper in our library, including 174 kinds (96 kinds of Chinese, 78 kinds of western languages), 62 kinds of Western Electronic Periodicals and 6 Chinese Christian newspapers. Over the years, the museum will be overdue periodical bound, at present a total of 8610 volumes, the reader can query using library catalog or periodical catalogue.
Audio-visual materialAt present, audio-visual materials, VCD (CD, VCD, DVD, CD) collection of about 1137 VCD/DVD; about 2112 pieces, there are other data discs (CD-ROM) 175 pieces, 11 pieces of tape slide materials, volume more than 2616, the contents are mainly Bible course, worship sermon. In addition, the library supplies laptops and projectors for the teachers and students to use.
China church history TibetThe library has a history of about 4561 volumes of Chinese churches in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. It provides a reference for the study of Chinese Church history.
ATLA Religion Database & ATLASerials：Department of American Theological Library Association indexed all Christian journals, literature, book reviews and papers and other materials included about 1656 journals. The theme of religious views include biblical studies, church history, world religion, social issues, there are more than 1 million 600 thousand of the data base index record, among 555000 notes were recorded as journals and 232000 recorded papers, and 511000 were book reviews. In addition, we provide 266000 full texts of more than 100 religious academic journals in the United States.
The Digital Karl Barth Library ：An online digital database for the works of 20th century German theologian Karl Barth. The contents include Bart representative, Die kirchliche Dogmatik (church doctrine), German version and English version, The Church Dogmatics, and Bart’s life, letters, chapters, articles, writing and other information. In order to study the important literature resources of Barth’s theology.
New Testament Abstracts Online：Results of collaboration between ATLA and Boston College. This database is an essential research and bibliographic resource for scholars and librarians of the New Testament and its historical backgrounds, librarians, ministers of the church, and students. It contains more than 44000 abstracts, 1200 abstracts, 16500 Book abstracts, and 50 software abstracts.
Old Testament Abstracts Online：Products for ATLA collaboration with Catholic Biblical Association. This database provides journal articles, monographs, CO authored works, and indexes and abstracts of software related to the study of the Old Testament. Topics covered include ancient antiquities, archaeology, Bible and theology, linguistics, etc.
Religion and Philosophy Collection：The database encompasses a wide range of religious and philosophical topics, including world religions, major denominations, biblical studies, religious history, philosophical epistemology, political philosophy, language philosophy, moral philosophy, and the history of Philosophy. It offers more than 300 full text journals, including more than 250 kinds of rated journals, as an important reference tool for theological and philosophical researchers and students. This database is updated daily via EBSCO host.
Religious & Theological Abstracts：The database (referred to as R & TA) is an index digest database for academic journals in the field of religion and Theology. It contains periodicals of Christianity, Judaism and other world religions, and provides references and abstracts to the literature. Instruments for the study of religion and Theology.
JSTOR： JSTOR is to establish a complete archive of important academic journals, periodicals in library preservation save manpower, the loss of money and make up for the traditional paper preservation type journal is unable to achieve the integrity of the organization established as the goal, the specialized journals included expired materials.

Journal： The library provides Ageing & Society, New Testament studies, The Journal of Ecclesiastical History, Brill Biblical & Religious Studies 97 electronic journals, teachers and students can browse the Internet using domain in CES.
NetLibrary： In March 2010, CES and other seminary library jointly to purchase Net-Library Bible research and dogmatic theology books a total of 171, the school teachers and students can be used in the domain of God.
Biblical Studies, Ancient Near East and Early Christianity E-Books Online： CES and other seminary library and University Library jointly to Brill Academic Publisher purchased a total of 205 books of Bible study on June 2013, June 2014 and June 2016, the teachers and students can be used in the domain of God.

Article 1 In order to effectively use funds to develop collections, the Chinese Evangelical Seminary Library (hereinafter referred to as the Library) lays down the recommendation for the book of the library of the Chinese Evangelical Seminary.
Article 2 The collection of books and materials for the embassy meets the needs of the teachers and students of the school. All the teachers and students of the school can recommend it for the needs of teaching and research.
Article 3 Books of recommendation are not purchased in principle if they are already in duplicate or have been ordered.
Article 4 Books, audio-visual materials, procedures for the purchase：
A. Full-time teacher referral program：
1. Teacher recommended books, audio-visual materials, please indicate the reasons for the recommendation. In the budget, the museum received the recommended reading list to purchase.
2. If the books and materials recommended by the teachers are beyond the budget, they shall be reviewed and approved by the vice president.
二、 Research and school based student recommendation program：
1. The students recommended books, audio-visual materials, please use the “single” God library books recommended to fill in the recommended bibliography, indicate the reasons for the recommendation, and ask our full time teacher to sign (advisor).
