The degree programs we offer here at CES is consistently undergoing growth and development. The current degree programs offered are as follows:
Advanced Degree Programs
Doctor of Ministry: min. 48 credit hours (with dissertation)
Master of Theology: Full time study: 2 years; part time study: 6 years; 26 credit hours
Doctor of Intercultural studies: min. 40 credit hours (with dissertation)
Basic Degree Programs
Master of Divinity
∙ Concentration in Theology: Full time study: 3 years; 90 credit hours
∙ Concentration in Pastoral Care: Full time study: 3 years; 90 credit hours
∙ Concentration in Pastoral Counseling: Full time study: 3 years; part time study: 8 years; 90 credit hours
Master of Arts in Biblical Studies: Full time study: 2 years; part time study: 8 years; 60 credit hours
Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies: Full time study: 3 years; part time study: 6 years; 70 credit hours
Master of Ministry in Lutheran Theology & Church Planting: Full time study: 2 years; part time study: 8 years; 60 credit hours
Master of Arts in Workplace Ministry: Part time study: 7 years; 50 credit hours
Master of Christian Studies: Part time study: 10 years; 60 credit hours
Certificate in Christian Studies: Full time study: 1 years; part time study: 5 years; 30 credit hours
Theological Education by Extension
Through this program, we can provide working people with proper theological education in their spare time to better equip them with the skills and knowledge necessary to serve in churches, grow to become dependable members of their respective pastoral teams, and live as proper stewards in God’s kingdom. In equipping themselves, these people would then be ready whenever God may call them to go and become full time ministers. Since the first class in 1973, this program has been extended to all parts of Taiwan, to Hong Kong, Japan, and parts of Europe. This program is appropriate for Christian affiliated with a church.
